Throughout Germany, and most of the central European countries, the most
traditional drinking vessel remains the earthenware mug. These mugs, or krugs,
are usually tan or gray in appearance with the logo of the brewery on the
front. They are both sturdy and dishwasher safe. They come in one-half or
one-liter sizes. They are efficient at keeping your beer cold and look great
on any bar.
Just the Beer Facts: No wonder the English have the reputation of being dull; the pint glass is so damn boring.
