Throughout Europe, fine restaurants, pubs and biergartens serve beer in glasses that are in a design appropriate to the style of beer that is contained, such as a Lager, Weizen, Alt, or Bock. Each beer glass is decorated with the name and/or logo of the brewery, and carries the legally-required "fill mark". They range from the traditional "mug" style of glass, through tall, slender weizen or pilsner glasses, to the elegant "tulip" style favored by the Bavarians for many of their lagers.

We have assembled a number of these biergarten glasses into collections but it should be noted that the composition of all collections is subject to change due to the vagaries of brewery supplies. Or you may visit our German Glasses, Belgium Glasses, British Isle glasses, Dutch Beer Glasses or French Beer Glasses and create your own collections or view our newest offerings.

Just the Beer Facts: In many of the Continental European countries, it is the law that a beer glass with a brewery logo on it may be used to serve only a beer from that brewery.

Bavarian Gold

The Bavarian Gold Collection (ABC-24). Shown from left to right are the Kapuziner, Speberbrau, Ellertaler Weiss, Erstes Laufer Weiss, Graf Clemens and an Alpkonig
Hefe-Weiss glass.
$46.00

Bach Quartet - ABC-28

The Bach Quartet (ABC-28). Good ole Johan Sebastian probably liked his Bock (beer) as much as his Bach (music.) Here are four bock bier glasses for you to enjoy your Bock beer in. From left to right; an Ayinger Celebrator dopplebock glass, the Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier, a new glass - the Aventinus Dopplebock, and an Einbecher Ur-Bock glass. That Dopplebock glass is really a good looking glass and it's just nice to hold and drink a beer out of. $30.75 s/h

Bavarian Alps collection of beer glasses

Bavarian Alps Collection (ABC-35) From left to right is the Mahr's Weiss, Schofferhoffer Weisse, Ayinger, König Ludwig, Paulaner, and the Schneider-Brooklyner Hopfen Weiss. $46.00 plus s/h.

Heidelberg Collection #abc-36

Heidelberg Collection (ABC-36) From left to right is the 0.2-liter Uerige Alt glass, the Veltins pokal, the Wernesgruner, the Ayinger Weissbier, the Hasselroder glass and the 0.5 Liter HB krug. $46.50

Just the Beer Facts: Cleanliness may be overdone. Belgian Lace (sometimes called Brussels Lace) is the wispy remains of the head on the side of the beer glass. If you don't have any, the glass probably has soap particles on it. That soap doesn't add much to the taste, either.

The Munich collection #ABC-30

The Munich Collection (ABC-30). You can feel Oktoberfest in this collection. From left to right;a Jever Pokal, an Ayinger, a Schofferhoffer Weisse, a 0.3L Krombacher pokal, a Hasselroder pokal and a Reissdorf Kölsch.
$48.25

The Red Tulip Collection - ABC-32

Yellow Tulip collection - ABC-33

The Yellow Tulip Collection (ABC-33). From left to right; The Bitburger pokal, Köstritzer, a Veltins pokal with a faceted stem, a Hasselroder pokal, Einbecher pils, and a Holsten glass. $45.25

The Bamburg Quartet Collection

The Bamberg Collection (ABC-36) From left to right, the the Aecht Willibecher, the large-capacity Dinkel Acker, Ayinger, and the Uerige Alt glass. $31.25 plus s/h.

Tulip shaped brewery glasses Tulip-shaped Brewery Glasses #5672  This matched set of graceful Pokal (tulip-shaped) glasses proves that beer-drinking doesn't have to be crude.  Each glass has the logo of an authentic German brewery.  $54.50 plus s/h.

Brewery Logos weissbier set

Brewery logos weissbier set #5676   This set of glasses is decorated with the logos of six different German breweries. Since they are true biergarten glasses, they are all of the same shape but lack the fill mark. We have no control over the logos that will be on your glasses as the manufacturer makes that decision. $45.00 + s/h.

For a complete listing of all beer glasses currently in our inventory, please go to our German Glass inventory, Belgium Glass inventory or British Isle glass inventory. Here you will be able to build your own collection or just purchase some individual glasses. This is also where we carry seasonal specialties and new glassware offerings.
Beer Fact: Beer glasses are in different shapes to enhance the aroma and/or the appearance of the beer.
