For a small country, its hard to believe the quantity (and quality)
of breweries that fills the glasses of the Belgians. Belgian beer glasses
differ from those of its neighbor, Germany, in two respects. First, the
fill mark is not required by the government of Belgium, so it does not
appear on their glasses. Second, is the preponderance of stemmed beer
glasses. Not all, but most, Belgian glasses have stems.
